Mel and Rocky

Fantastic day at Mel and Rocky’s wedding. It was one of the nicest ceremonies, I’ve ever been to. Had a tear in my eye as Rocky and Mel exchanged vows. It was so nice to be part of this incredible day. It was also awesome to say hi to Nicole and Dan and Michelle and David, two couple who’s weddings we’ve photographed. Enjoy the photos. There’s about 200 more here.009-M&R by Flash Gordon Photography

Jenny and Peter–Central Coast Wedding Photographer

This weekend past we had the exceptional pleasure of photographing Peter and Jenny Ford’s wedding at Terrigal in this Flash Gordon Wedding. Unfortunately because of the ceremony running over by nearly an hour we were left with only 10 to 15 minutes on location. But Peter and Jenny were really wonderful and patient as Grant and I ran around like mad rats. Peter’s three sons and Jenny’s daughters were all in the bridal party, making for a real family affair. And I have to say, it’s really hard to argue with someone who has the exquisite taste to leave the reception in an Aston Martin DB9.

Thanks Jenny and Peter. It was a joy and a privilege to be a small part of you most special day.

Ceremony : Terrigal Uniting Church

Location: Terrigal Haven

Reception: Reef Restaurant

Jonelle and Rodd – Central Coast Wedding Photographers

Stunning Day – Check!

Beautiful Bride wearing amazing dress – Check!

Hot Bridesmaids – Check!

Dashing Groomsman – Check!

Superb Location – Check!

Grant and Gordon with Cameras – Check!

All the boxes were thoroughly checked at this incredible wedding. Plus throw in some gale force winds a rocky shoreline and a convertible and there’s Grant and I, basically just going off like a frog in a sock. This was one of, if not the biggest PerfectImages wedding we’ve ever shot. It will probably take Grant weeks just to get through the initial cull…..

Jonelle and Rodd are from Sydney but married at Magenta Shores on the Central Coast. They really went all out to make sure that this was a day that everyone will remember. The reception had a chocolate fountain AND a photo booth for the guests. The food was fantastic. The speeches were superb. The DJ was great. This was a huge day for us, but it flew by so fast. Probably because we were having so much fun.

I don’t think I can adequately explain how many photo opportunities were at this wedding. It was an absolute visual feast for us. great people, great location and great light. And I got to stand up in the front seat of a moving car again.

Five Brides and a Wedding – Bonnie and Will – Hunter Valley Wedding Photography

Grant and I got a huge buzz this weekend when we realised that there were five couples whose weddings we have photographed at Bonnie and Will’s wedding. And Colin, our first groom in this group, was the best man. It’s incredible that in the last five years all these great couples have now started families of their own. Lots of wonderful kids and babies to be seen this day.

And it’s incredibly humbling when Will described us as “more like family, than just the photographers” in his speech, which, by the way was awesome.

On an absolutely stunning day in the Hunter Valley, Bonnie and Will got married. This was an intimate day in an absolutely amazing setting. We found ourselves, again, at the Wandin Valley winery with the vines in full bloom. Bonnie and Will were married under the shade of the Eucalypts. Kangaroos lazed under trees in the distance. And a gentle breeze kept everybody comfortable. Sounds more like an ad for the Hunter. If you were making an ad. This would be the day to do it.

Lots of Will’s family made it over from Europe, so there was basically a double celebration. And to top it all off I found out that Will and Bonnies parents share exactly the same wedding day. Even though they were married in different continents and had never met until Bonnie and Will were dating.

Hope you all enjoy looking at these pictures as much as we did taking them.
