FAQ

Where are you located?

Gordon lives on the Central Coast. Grant lives in Northern Sydney. You can deal with either of us depending on where you live/work and whats easier for you. We can meet with you on the coast or Sydney or even in Sydney’s CBD (during business hours).

What gear do you use?

We use a range of professional digital SLRs and film cameras. Currently we use Canon, but that could change if something better comes along. We also use professional lenses and accessories. Currently we shoot up to 21 megapixel RAW files. That’s big.

What happens if something breaks down?

We have enough backup equipment to ensure it never imapedes on shooting your wedding. This includes cameras, lenses, flashguns and accessories.

What happens if Grant or Gordon get sick?

Well, unless we’re in hospital, or at the morgue, we’ll be there. But, if we do get really sick or injured we have a couple of incredible support shooters who can be there at a moments notice. It’s never happened but we’re ready, hust in case.

How much experience do you have?

Gordon has photographed over 500 wedding and Grant lost count at 300. So, a few. We could tell you some stories…….

How many wedding do you photograph a year?

We try to limit ourselves to 30 a year, but we never do. Photographing weddings is just too much fun.

Do you guarentee your presence?

Yes. Unless we have agreed otherwise you will have Gordon and Grant shooting your wedding.

Do we need to supply you a meal?

All engines need fuel. 99% of our wedding clients provide us with a meal. Meals are not required for bookings of 5 hour or less.

How long until I get my photos?

It takes between 3 and 4 weeks for the DVD’s to be ready for collection. If your getting a coffee table book then allow a further three weeks for the book to be made. You can, however, get your discs as soon as they’re done. Albums depend on how long it takes you to pick your pictures and sign off on the design and then add four weeks for the album to be built.

Do you charge extra for travelling time?

Depends. If you live less than 150km from our location then we don’t charge any travelling fees. If you’re getting married in Fiji then we’ll need to talk. Free travel includes all of Sydney, The Central Coast, Hunter and Newcastle.

What kind of albums do you have?

We can supply traditional albums, coffee table books, magazine style albums and portfolio albums. We’ll show you what they all look like when we meet.

What can I do with the images you supply?

You have full,non-commercial rights, so you can do anything that doesn’t involve re-selling or licencing the images. Copyright is retained by us. You can print the images, put them on the web, make a book or an album. You can’t sell them to New Idea without talking to us but other than that…..

How big can I print my images?

As big as you want. We regularly make prints to over a meter in size from our files. In fact if you have a special shot or two that you want printed really big, we’ll prepare the file properly for you free of charge.

How long do you keep a copy of my images for?

Forever. We guarentee five years from the date of your wedding. But short of a catastrophe, we’ll always have a copy of your files.

What happens if I lose my discs?

Hopefully you made copies. But, if you didn’t, we’ll happily make you another set for a nominal fee. (Currently $30.00)

Do you shoot more than one wedding per day?

No. It’s not good for you and it’s not good for us. You need the peace of mind knowing that if things have to change on the day, that we are flexible to suit your needs.

Can you meet us at our place?

Sure? If you work late or have a lot on we’ll hapily come to you to have a chat about your wedding photos.

If we live in Sydney but are getting married on the coast how can we collect our images?

You can pick up your images in Sydney CBD during business hours or Grant’s home after hours no problems.

We live in Sydney but are getting married on the Cenral Coast or Hunter.
