Maybe they forgot that we have nearly as much fun as they do? It’s always a pleasure to be around people like Jules, John and the wedding party they had. Just a fantastic group, every one of them. Grant and I had a great time shooting this one.

Some couples are in love and some are in looooove. I don’t remember seeing a couple as happy to be finally married as Jules and John. They just couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces.  And I have to vote the best mans speech the best one I’ve heard in over 500 weddings. Just brilliant.

Now, Grant booked this one so he will have a few hundred processed for all to see shortly, but I just had to have a play and get a few up for you all to enjoy. So….. enjoy!

Most of this years wedding are in Sydney. And while I love it that people keep referring us from the days I used to live there, it’s certainly nice to get one close to home. Especially with a couple like Anna and Jason. These guys win hands down as the years most relaxed couple so far. Cool and easy going was the order of the day. Not only were the lovely couple great, but everyone in the bridal party was just amazing. The girls got ready at Avoca Valley B&B and the ceremony and reception was at Manons at Foresters Beach. Jason and Anna wanted a non-coastal backdrop to their photos so we went back to the B&B for the location photography. And a big shout out to Prestige Hummers. A newish company located right here on the coast. Highly recommended.

As often happens at this time of the year it got really dark, really fast. We were shooting in very dim conditions at the end. However Grant and I love a challenge and we combined top of the line gear and lots of experience shooting late to get some really awesome shots of Anna, Jason and the bridal party.

Thanks Anna and Jason for having us photograph your wedding. It was a real treat for us. Weddings like this are why we love doing what we do so much.

Nyree and Stuart are from a long line of clients who we have always had great times with at their weddings, and this was no different. Plenty of laughs were had. Thanks to everyone for the recommendations, it is very much appreciated. It’s always nice to see familiar faces and the additions that come with marriage – ‘KIDS’

It isnt often these days that we photograph a wedding somewhere that we have never been. We were lucky enough to get some late afternoon light at Collins Beach (North Head) followed by some evening shots at ‘Q Station’ (North Head) – a fantastic spot!

Grant and I loved shooting this wedding. Great couple, great light, great locations. And we got to hang out with Adam and Michelle who we haven’t seen since we photographed their wedding three years ago. J.B. and Daniel were just so cool and so much fun to be around. The attitude was relaxed and joyous. Thanks for making our job so easy. Congratulations JB and Daniel. You’re a perfect pair.

Had a blast up at The Australian Reptile Park in Somersby last week. The kids got to play with snakes, wombats, alligators and a Galapagos Tortoise. And I got to shoot it. This is for a new brochure to promote kids parties and schools excursions to the park. It’s a great place and you should take your kids there. These are straight from the camera basically.
